RIYADH: Muslims have been flocking to Mount Al-Rumah in the north of Madinah, about 4 km from the Prophet’s Mosque, ahead of the Maghrib call to prayer.

The site, which is about 180 meters in length, is a significant historical landmark and a destination for those seeking to learn about the Battle of Uhud, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.

The mount offers visitors a view of the position where archers were stationed during the battle.
