ISLAMABAD: Pakistani fintech ABHI announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with Saudi Arabia-based Squadio, a prominent technology talent and team-building platform in the MENA region, to provide employees with instant access to their earned wages.

Founded in Pakistan in 2021, ABHI offers earned wage access services by allowing salaried employees to withdraw a portion of their wages before payday through employer-linked digital platforms.

ABHI said in a press release that the partnership will enable Squadio employees to access a portion of their earned salary at any time during the month, empowering them with greater financial flexibility and helping them better manage their day-to-day financial needs.

“Earned Wage Access empowers employees with greater financial control while enabling employers to promote a more engaged, productive, and financially resilient workforce,” ABHI CEO Omair Ansari said.

“Our partnership with Squadio reflects a shared commitment to leveraging technology to improve employee well-being and create modern workplace experiences.”

Squadio CEO Abdulrahman Alzeaagi said the company is pleased with its strategic partnership with ABHI.

“We are also proud to collaborate with a partner that shares our vision of leveraging technology to improve the employee experience,” Alzeaagi said.

“At Squadio, we believe that empowering tech teams with smart tools and modern benefits is the foundation for building more efficient and sustainable workplaces.”

ABHI offers its services across Pakistan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman, enabling businesses and employees to enjoy early access to liquidity.

The fintech says it has over 1 million users and more than 7,000 business partners.
