RIYADH: The history of Saudi Arabia and its national development journey is the focus for the country’s pavilion at this year’s International Cultural Festival, organized by the Islamic University of Madinah.
The displays are rich in cultural and historical content to reflect the depth of the Saudi identity. They include rock inscriptions, heritage collections and archeological artifacts that embody the many stages of the Saudi state and its civilizational evolution through the ages.
The pavilion also provides a showcase for Saudi Vision 2030, reflecting the Kingdom’s aspirations for the future and its efforts to strengthen its global standing. And as well as raising awareness of the Kingdom’s rich heritage, the pavilion serves as a platform for cultural exchanges and building bridges between peoples.
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque is also involved in this year’s festival to highlight the efforts made to serve the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
