MADINAH: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Two Holy Mosques has launched the Qur’an recitation program for “itikaf” participants at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.

The initiative is part of the presidency’s educational and awareness programs offered during Ramadan to enhance worshipers’ connection to the holy book.

The program aims to enable itikaf participants to review their memorization of the holy book and gain perfection in its recitation under the supervision of experts, strengthening the spiritual and scholarly environment inside the Prophet’s Mosque.

The presidency invited those wishing to join the program to register online.

Separately, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs has implemented a comprehensive women’s services system across major mosques in Madinah, including Al-Khandaq, Sayyid Al-Shuhada and Qiblatain.

Operating in the central area and around the Prophet’s Mosque, the system employs qualified female staff to provide religious guidance, organizational support and a safe environment for worshipers.
