RIYADH: The 2025 Saudi eLeague Championship concluded on Tuesday with Twisted Minds ultimately crowned the cross-game club champions, bringing to an end a season defined by intense competition, breakout performances and record audience engagement.
The event, hosted by the Saudi Esports Federation, featured 13 tournaments in which the Kingdom’s leading esports clubs competed for supremacy and a share of a SR1 million ($267,000) prize pool.
More than 390 players representing 35 clubs took part, which organizers said underlined the depth of talent and competitive strength within the rapidly growing Saudi esports sector.
Twisted Minds claimed the overall title, and SR210,000 in prize money, after finishing top of the cross-game club standings with 2,943 points.
Team Falcons triumphed in the closely contested battle for runners-up, finishing with 1,877 points and taking home SR180,000. Team Stallions delivered one of the standout team performances of the season, capping a remarkable rise with a third-place finish on 1,786 points, worth SR160,000.
Al-Qadsiah Esports collected the SR130,000 prize for fourth place, followed by The Vicious Esports who finished fifth and received SR110,000. Sixth place, and SR90,000, went to Bright Future, while ZNTRX received SR70,000 for seventh spot, and Team Vision took home SR50,000 for eighth place.
More than 4,000 fans attended the event at SEF Arena in person, organizers said, while livestream views among the global audience totaled more than 9 million. The championship generated more than 200 million impressions on social media platforms, they added, reflecting the expanding regional and international reach of Saudi esports.
Abdullah Al-Nasser, head of product at the Saudi Esports Federation, described the season as “extraordinary” as he praised the quality of the competition and the levels of fan engagement.
He congratulated Twisted Minds on their title-winning campaign and thanked all the players, teams and supporters for their passion during the event. Preparations are already underway, he added, to ensure the next season of the Saudi eLeague is “bigger, bolder and even more unforgettable.”
