SINGAPORE: Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi met Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan on Friday at the 7th Indian Ocean Conference in Perth, Australia.

During the meeting, they affirmed the commitment of the GCC and Singapore to enhance strategic relations, particularly in the economic, trade and investment domains, the council reported.

They reviewed the latest efforts to update the free trade agreement signed between the GCC and Singapore in 2008.
