Arab celebs pay tribute to mothers on Instagram
US Mother’s Day was this week and a number of celebrities took to social media to honor the leading ladies in their lives by sharing sweet throwback photos and heartwarming captions.
Moroccan-Dutch-Egyptian model Imaan Hammam posted a series of pictures on her Instagram feed to celebrate her mom. “Thank you for always being there for us, we love you so much,” she captioned the post.
“We love you more than words,” wrote the half-Palestinian model, who posted a throwback snap of her mother Yolanda Hadid on her wedding day, standing alongside her two grandmothers. “Eternally grateful,” added the 25-year-old.
The Tunisian-French actress, singer and model took to her Instagram Stories to honor “the light of her life.”
Also taking to Instagram to celebrate the most important woman in her life was Shanina Shaik. “She is my everything,” the part-Saudi model captioned a sweet image of her and her mother.
The US-Palestinian DJ duo paid a touching tribute to their mother via a series of posts that they uploaded onto their Instagram Stories.
“My joy,” wrote the Moroccan-Italian model alongside an adorable childhood photograph of her and her mom.
