TVTC website helps graduates land jobs

RIYADH: Some 194 local firms have announced available jobs through the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) website, according to Fahd Al-Otaibi, TVTC spokesman.
“The TVTC website has helped in the generation of jobs in the private sector for more than 22,000 graduates of technical and vocational programs,” Al-Otaibi said.
He said these graduates have landed jobs in various fields such as oil and gas, marketing, communications, electronics, insurance, among others, adding that the private sector is the biggest beneficiary from the graduates of technical and vocational programs.
He said that companies are provided with the latest development training modules outputs via text messages, email and access information regarding the number of graduates in each discipline in various regions of the Kingdom.
Al-Otaibi added that graduates seeking jobs can enter their data after joining one of the institutes and colleges of TVTC.
He added that the system takes the data, which are updated automatically.

Crown prince, US president discuss regional escalation in phone call

RIYADH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a telephone call on Saturday from US President Donald Trump, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Trump expressed Washington's condemnation of the blatant missile attacks against the Kingdom, which were intercepted by the Kingdom's air defenses. 

He affirmed US support for the Kingdom and its backing of all measures taken by the Kingdom to confront these Iranian violations that undermine the security and stability of the region, SPA added.
