BAHA, 29 June 2006 — Police in Baha were sent on a wild homicidal goose chase yesterday when a man telephoned them to report that he had killed his wife and thrown her body over a bridge in the city. Officers rushed to the bridge and along dark streets and alleyways below it, searching for a body but couldn’t find anything. It turned out that the man was mentally ill and was hallucinating. The man’s wife told the police that her husband may have seen visions of himself killing her and throwing her body over the bridge.
