RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index fell 134.01 points, or 1.25 percent, to close Wednesday at 10,544.10.
Total trading turnover reached SR5.29 billion ($1.41 billion), with 305.45 million shares changing hands.
Market breadth was negative, with 199 stocks declining and 55 advancing. The benchmark opened at 10,639.44, compared with its previous close of 10,678.11.
The MSCI Tadawul 30 Index dropped 19.51 points, or 1.36 percent, to 1,412.20.
On the parallel market, the Nomu Index declined 107.41 points, or 0.49 percent, to 21,769.81. A total of 33 stocks declined, while 25 advanced.
Top movers
Takween Advanced Industries Co. was the session’s top performer, rising 9.98 percent to SR4.63, followed by Tabuk Agricultural Development Co., which gained 9.94 percent to SR9.40.
Americana Restaurants International advanced 7.66 percent to SR2.25, while Al Moammar Information Systems Co. increased 5.81 percent to SR235. Arab Internet and Communications Services Co., known as solutions by stc, rose 5.61 percent to SR211.
GAS Arabian Services Co. recorded the steepest decline, falling 8.45 percent to SR15.28. Riyad Bank dropped 5.43 percent to SR19.68, while Specialized Medical Co., known as SMC Healthcare, declined 5.29 percent to SR14.32.
Saudi Energy Co. lost 5.24 percent to close at SR17.01, while Arabian Co. for Agricultural and Industrial Investment, known as Entaj, fell 5.16 percent to SR23.15.

Americana Restaurants International’s board approved an interim cash dividend of $100.8 million, equivalent to SR378 million, for the six months ended June 30.
The distribution covers 8.4 billion eligible shares, excluding treasury shares, at $0.012, or SR0.045, per share. The dividend represents 60 percent of the company’s share capital.
Shareholders registered by the close of trading on Aug. 4 will be eligible for the distribution. The shareholder register will close on Aug. 6, with payment scheduled for Aug. 18.
The board also adopted Americana’s condensed consolidated interim financial statements for the six-month period following a recommendation from its audit committee.
In another announcement, Saudi Exchange lifted the suspension on trading Amwaj International Co.’s shares from Wednesday after the company published its financial statements for 2025.
