KSrelief expands food, health aid in 3 countries

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s aid agency KSrelief distributed 1,781 food baskets to vulnerable groups in Khan Younis, Gaza, benefiting 10,686 people.

The agency’s central kitchen also continued distributing hot meals, providing 25,000 meals to vulnerable groups in central and southern Gaza.

In Mali, KSrelief distributed 917 food baskets to families in need and persons with disabilities in the Segou and Koulikoro regions, benefiting 5,500 people.

The agency also delivered 600 food baskets to the most vulnerable families in Yemen’s Abyan governorate, benefiting 4,200 people.

Meanwhile, the KSrelief-backed dialysis center in Al-Mahrah governorate provided medical services to 134 patients in one month.

The prosthetics and rehabilitation center in Aden governorate delivered 1,945 medical services to 659 beneficiaries in one month who had lost limbs.

Services included the manufacture, fitting and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, as well as physical therapy and specialized consultations.
