ADEN: The Emergency Response Project for Cholera in Yemen, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, provided medical services to 5,909 beneficiaries in late March.
The project targets severely affected areas to reduce infection rates and limit the spread of cholera.
Measures include deploying medical teams at airports and border crossings, supplying health facilities with essential treatment supplies, and expanding the capacity of cholera treatment centers, with one suspected case recorded.
Elsewhere, the center recently distributed 400 food baskets to displaced persons, those in need, and individuals with disabilities in Mali, benefiting 2,400 individuals.
This falls within the framework of the relief and humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom to assist those in need and affected populations worldwide.
Over the weekend, separatists launched their largest assault in Mali in almost 15 years, attacking the junta and its Russian paramilitary backers.
