N’DJAMENA: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has distributed 3,219 cartons of dates to the most vulnerable groups in the regions of Lac and Hadjer-Lamis, Chad, benefiting 19,314 individuals, as part of a project to distribute 800 tonnes of dates in Chad for the year 2026.
In the Lac region, 436 cartons of dates were distributed, benefiting 2,616 individuals.
Additionally, 2,783 cartons of dates were distributed in several areas of the Hadjer-Lamis region, benefiting 16,698 individuals.
Recently, the center distributed 500 food baskets to families in need in Siguiri, Guinea, benefiting 3,281 individuals, as part of a food basket project in the African country.
The agency also distributed 1,200 food baskets to displaced persons, refugees, and people with disabilities in San, Mali, benefiting 7,200 individuals as part of a larger project to distribute food in the country.
These initiatives fall within the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief efforts to assist people in need worldwide.
