RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed bilateral relations and regional developments during a telephone call with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Tuesday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The two leaders reviewed cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Spain and explored ways to strengthen ties across a number of sectors, SPA added.
During the call, Sanchez condemned recent attacks by the Houthis on Saudi commercial vessels and denounced threats to freedom of navigation in the Red Sea.
The Spanish prime minister reaffirmed his country's full solidarity with the Kingdom and expressed support for all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to safeguard its security, sovereignty and national interests.
