MADINAH: Saudi Arabia Railways is committed to increasing the number of train journeys across its stations, the company’s corporate communications director, Hussam Al-Shehri, has confirmed.
The aim is to accommodate growing numbers of visitors and pilgrims, especially between Makkah and Madinah.
Al-Shehri said the company had implemented a comprehensive operational plan — the largest of its kind for the Haramain High-Speed Railway — to raise trip capacity and make traveling between the two holy cities easier, quicker and safer.
The program reflects an advanced model for efficiently transporting millions of passengers and maintaining regular departure schedules.
