RIYADH: Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo remains in Saudi Arabia, sources confirmed to Arab News on Tuesday.
There had been conflicting reports about the whereabouts of the Al-Nassr superstar amid rising tensions in the Middle East after US and Israeli strikes on Iran, and Tehran’s retaliatory attacks on Gulf countries.
Al-Nassr's official X account on Tuesday night posted photos of the players, including Ronaldo, taking part in the day's training session.
Some accounts on social media and news outlets had previously claimed that Ronaldo’s jet flew to Madrid late on Monday night.
