ABHA: The Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture organized a workshop titled “System for Controlling Agriculture and Water Regulation Violations in the Arabian Shield,” in Asir.
The initiative advances the Saudi government’s commitment to strengthening regulatory adherence and improving supervisory operational effectiveness throughout Arabian Shield territories.
More than 70 technical specialists from ministry branches spanning Asir, Jazan, Al-Baha and Najran took part, joined by senior supervisory officials and departmental heads.
Discussions centered on advancing field inspection frameworks and elevating monitoring team readiness, thereby reinforcing surveillance of agricultural and water sector operations while ensuring violation enforcement aligns with established legal parameters.
The workshop addressed several key themes, most notably analysis of agriculture and water system implementation regulations, and their application methodologies across Arabian Shield jurisdictions.
