Bedouin heritage attracts visitors at Al-Sayahid market

AL-SAYAHID: The Al-Sayahid heritage market is a top attraction for visitors at the 10th King Abdulaziz Camel Festival on the outskirts of Riyadh.

The market, also called Basatat Al-Sayahid, is an open space featuring elements of traditional Bedouin life, offering a rich blend of heritage, hospitality, and modern services, the Saudi Press Agency reported recently.

It features traditional souqs showcasing products from families working in cottage industries, as well as handmade and traditional crafts reflecting the cultural diversity of the Kingdom.

The market supports artisans and contributes to their economic empowerment.

The location has well-known international restaurants and cafes, with extensive seating areas for guests to relax in an atmosphere combining comfort with tradition.

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman left the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh on Friday night, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The king had been undergoing medical examinations at the hospital, SPA reported earlier.

The report added that the results of the examinations were “reassuring.”
