BEIRUT: Hezbollah said it launched rockets at a defense company in northern Israel Saturday, the latest attacks after Israel intensified its bombing campaign last week, nearly a year into cross-border clashes with the group.
The Iran-backed group said in a statement that it launched “a rocket salvo” toward a “military industries company” east of Acre.

LONDON: Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call on Tuesday from Ali Larijani, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
During the call, both parties discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation, recent developments in the region, and various matters of mutual interest, according to Qatar News Agency.
Sheikh Mohammed reiterated Qatar’s support for all de-escalation efforts and peaceful solutions to strengthen security and stability in the region.
