  • Al-Asheikh highlighted the importance of Saudi Arabia’s participation in regional and international parliamentary meetings

ANTALYA, Turkiye: The speaker of the Shoura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Asheikh was in attendance on Monday at the 13th meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, which was held in Antalya, Turkiye. 

Al-Asheikh took part in the meeting of the Executive Council in the presence of the heads of Asian parliaments and parliamentary delegations.

The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by Al-Asheikh, includes a number of council's members and officials.

Earlier this month, Al-Asheikh highlighted the importance of Saudi Arabia’s participation in regional and international parliamentary meetings, in support of cooperation and joint action in all fields and at various levels.

He said that part of the delegation’s mission is to emphasize the Islamic, political and economic leverage of the Kingdom, the “prudent positions it was taking and the approach it was following under the leadership” of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in “contributing to achieving prosperity and development in the region and the entire world.”

Saudi foreign minister arrives in Cairo for meeting with Egyptian president

  • Prince Faisal bin Farhan will discuss regional developments with Egyptian officials

LONDON: Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, arrived in Cairo for an official visit on Sunday evening.

He is scheduled to meet with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Monday and his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Prince Faisal will discuss ways to enhance Saudi-Egyptian relations across various sectors, and talks will also focus on regional developments, SPA added.
