Kurita Aquachemie brings innovative Cetamine technology to Saudi Arabia

RIYADH: Kurita Aquachemie is a leading manufacturer and provider of water and process treatment chemicals solutions. It has a state-of-the-art production facility in Dammam 2nd Industrial City. The company has brought its innovative patented technology product line under the Cetamine brand for boiler and cooling water applications, to Saudi Arabia.

Cetamine is a comprehensive technology based on film-forming amines (often referred to as polyamines or fatty amines). It prevents scale formation and corrosion in feed water tanks, feed water lines, boilers, steam and condensate systems.

The treatment performance is based on the combination of several actions such as corrosion protection, dispersion and removal of scale-forming salts, and pH control by means of neutralizing amines.

Due to a film formation on metal surfaces throughout the entire system, a hydrophobic protective film becomes a continuous barrier between water and metal. Moreover, Cetamine is an all-in-one treatment approach for boiler water, compared to the traditional usage of three different chemicals.

Cetamine’s effectiveness is attracting the industries’ attention worldwide, with more than 1,000 customer applications till date. It offers numerous advantages, not only extending the life of the piping, ensuring the safe and stable operation of units, and reducing energy costs, water usage and labor costs, but also improving the work environment, and above all, the overall productivity.
