LONDON: Saudi Arabia announced 5 deaths from COVID-19 and 117 new infections on Sunday.
Of the new cases, 47 were recorded in Riyadh, 22 in Makkah, 22 in the Eastern Province, 6 in Asir, 5 in Madinah, 2 in Jazan and 1 in Najran.
The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 355,548 after 166 more patients recovered from the virus.
A total of 6,291 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.

Non-resident Saudi ambassador to Palestine presents credentials
RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s non-resident ambassador to Palestine Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan presented his credentials to President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday.
Abbas expressed his deep appreciation for the Kingdom’s leading role in serving and supporting the Palestinian cause, and wished Prince Mansour success in his duties to strengthen Saudi-Palestinian relations in all fields, Saudi Press Agency reported.
