TUNIS: Acting Director-General of the General Directorate of Passports Maj. Gen. Saleh Al-Murabba led the Saudi Interior Ministry delegation to the 22nd Arab Conference of Heads of Immigration and Passport Authorities.

The event was held in Tunis on July 22 and 23, with the participation of heads of immigration and passport authorities from Arab countries, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, and representatives of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.

The conference discussed ways to strengthen cooperation among member states and topics related to the current use of biometric passports and databases in Arab countries, in addition to a comparative study of human trafficking and migrant smuggling crimes.
