The Express Tribune: Asad Umar doubles down on commitment to curb money laundering, terror financing

October 19 – The Express Tribune report by News Desk states that Finance Minister Asad Umar late Thursday night doubled down on the government’s desire to stamp out money laundering and terror financing in Pakistan in line with internationally recognised standards, Express News reported. Umar met with a delegation of the Asia Pacific Group (APG), an Financial Action Task Force-style regional body on money laundering in the federal capital, where he conveyed the government’s resolve to this end.
