Saudi Arabia signs military deal with France

Saudi Arabia signed on Sunday a bilateral military agreement with France aimed at protecting classified information.

The deal was signed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman and French Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Barley, the Saudi press agency reported.

During the meeting in Jeddah, both sides discusses bilateral cooperation in the field of defense and regional developments.

The meeting was attended by senior Saudi and French officials.

The two parties discussed the evolving relationship between the countries and the potential for future collaboration. The ambassador was also briefed about Arab News operations.

The ambassador acknowledged the long-standing relationship between the two nations and praised Arab News for promoting understanding with its “insightful reporting.”
