The Frontier Post report, from Islamabad, states that Federal Minister for Power Division Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari said that incumbent government has fulfilled its commitment of surplus power generation in the country by taking electricity production to 16,477 megawatts, which is 2,700 megawatts higher than the existing demand. Today, the country stands rescued from the longstanding power crisis.
