RIYADH: The National Center for Tourism Human Resources Development (Takamul) organized a workshop laying out plans to monitor the Saudization of tourism jobs.
A Takamul official said Thursday the center’s efforts in this regard are in cooperation with the Department of Licensing and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH). The plan is supported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development.
The workshop concluded with an agreement on an integrated mechanism, detailing the tasks required of branch inspectors and ways to limit irregularities. The SCTH is expected to launch the plan next month.
