ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Education Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain left for Saudi Arabia on Saturday for talks on bilateral cooperation, state-owned broadcaster Radio Pakistan reported.
Hussain will be on a five-day visit to the Kingdom, where he will meet Saudi Education Minister Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh.
"Minister for Education Rana Tanveer Hussain has left for Saudi Arabia on a five-day official visit where he will attend an international conference on education," Radio Pakistan said. “Rana Tanveer Hussain will also hold a meeting with his Saudi counterpart on education matters and bilateral cooperation.”
The Minister will also visit Pakistani schools in Saudi Arabia and attend an international conference on education.
The Saudi capital, Riyadh is hosting the International Conference and Exhibition for Education (ICEE 2022), which will begin on Sunday and run through May 11.
It will be attended also by the ministers of education of the UAE and Egypt.
