ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber met with the commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force Riyadh on Wednesday.
Lt. Gen. Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz received the Pakistani air chief and his delegation.
“During the meeting, issue of common interest were discussed,” SPA said. “Chief of Air Staff of Pakistan Air Force paid a visit to Riyadh-based Saqer-Aljazirah Aviation Museum and a number of Saudi companies specialized in the field of aviation."
Long-time allies Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy strong military ties. Saudi soldiers and officers have for decades been trained by the Pakistani military.
Last year five cadets from Saudi Arabia graduated from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Academy, and a Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) contingent of nearly 180 pilots and air engineering technicians participated in a two-week-long drill organized by PAF.
