JEDDAH: Thamer International School (TIS) felicitated its top-ranking IGCSE and A-level students recently.
“The consistent and outstanding achievement of TIS students is both a matter of pride and honor for the staff and administration,” said Prince Faisal bin Thamer while extending his wishes to the students for their success and future endeavors.
Ammar Anas Alsayed Mohamed Aboagwa secured best across three AS level and was first in Saudi Arabia in math, physics and chemistry. He also topped in the world in AS level math.
Syed Yasin Kadri aced high achievement in coordinated sciences (double award). Ahmed Omar Mohammed Mansour Soliman is leading top in the region in IGCSE physics.
Rania Fathi Farouk Mohammed Farid aced best in seven subjects — ICT, biology, physics, math, accounting, chemistry and English.
Salma Ashraf Gouda Elsayed is leading top in the region in IGCSE English as a second language. Thamer International School is the main exam center for conducting Cambridge International Exam for Jeddah region.

KSU, NAMA Foundation sign agreement
- The agreement aims to support King Saud University’s international orientation
RIYADH: King Saud University has signed a cooperation agreement with the NAMA Foundation in Malaysia as part of its strategic move to strengthen its international presence and expand its network of academic partnerships.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by Dr. Nasser Al-Daghri, the vice president for educational and academic affairs, with the NAMA Foundation’s CEO Dr. Saleh Bazead also signing.
The agreement aims to support King Saud University’s international orientation, enhancing its capacity to attract outstanding international students and empowering them academically and professionally through advanced educational and developmental programs.
These efforts contribute to educating groups of students, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, while promoting the values of moderation and cultural coexistence and consolidating the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for knowledge, science, and innovation.
