JEDDAH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, received Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain in Jeddah at suhoor on Thursday.
Members of the royal family and Cabinet ministers were present at the early morning meeting.
Both leaders discussed matters of mutual concern and issues concerning the Pakistani community in the Kingdom.
At another meeting in Jeddah, OIC Assistant Secretary-General Naeem Khan briefed the president about the OIC summit being held in Pakistan in November this year.
Earlier, he met a delegation of overseas Pakistanis from Makkah, Taif and Jeddah who discussed various matters concerning education facilities for overseas Pakistanis, investment opportunities and the role of Pakistanis in the development of Saudi Arabia.
They appreciated various developmental projects initiated by the present government in Pakistan and hoped that the initiative of the economic corridor will have a far-reaching impact on the life of the common man in the years to come.
Hussain left for Pakistan on Thursday morning after the meeting with the crown prince.
Later, Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed came to see the president off.

RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with the Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher in Davos on Friday.
During the meeting which took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, areas of joint cooperation and ways to enhance it were discussed, Saudi Press Agency reported.
