A man matching the description of the suspect entered the First Service Federal Credit Union on Holt Road in Columbus and handed an employee a note saying he was robbing the bank, had a gun and wanted cash. "As soon as employees saw the man enter the bank, they knew immediately that it was the 'Mullet Man,'" said Harry Trombitas, a special agent with the FBI. "But by then it was too late." Employees described the robber as a white male, approximately 30 years of age, 5'10", with a medium build and dark hair cut in the mullet style — short upfront but long in the back. As in previous holdups believed to be part of Mullet Bandit's spree, the suspect was wearing large dark sunglasses and a Seattle Mariners baseball cap and carrying a large black book bag. A man matching that description is wanted in three previous holdups in the Columbus area on May 5, May 18 and May 27.
