The Clarins experience begins from the moment you step onto the glistening white marble floors of the luxury spa in Jeddah’s Hilton Qasr Al-Sharq.
The high-end skincare products’ boutique, which recently opened in Jeddah, features four treatment rooms offering a full range of the unrivalled Clarins Touch treatment developed in Paris. Also, in keeping with a holistic approach, the women-only spa features a gym, an aqua-medic massage pool, a whirlpool and a café serving a delectable menu of healthy treats.
The spa is located on the hotel’s ninth floor with a breathtaking view of the Red Sea. Clarins’ heritage lies in professional salon treatment with over 50 years experience in skincare for the face and body. Passion to provide high quality products the continuous investment in research has made Clarins a leader in cosmetics and beauty.
Jeanne Smietanski, manager of Clarins Spa, said that the company’s philosophy is to pamper their guests to put back a little of what life takes out. “Our experienced team of beauty therapists strive to provide our clients with an treasured sensorial experience,” said Smietanski.
The spa caters only to women. Therefore, it provides complete privacy and seclusion. “The concept of the spa is to offer relaxation so guests can savor the moment,” she added.
“Our guests can take stimulating journeys with treatments inspired by the French natural tradition and the charm of Asian cultures,” said Smietanski.
Arab News visited the spa and after registering at the reception, spa hostesses brought towels, a bathrobe and slippers, and showed the way to the lockers. Then, customers can decide which program of treatment they want.
Highlights include the aqua-medic pool, which is a massage pool that pumps underwater jet streams specifically designed to massage and relax the back, neck, waist, shoulders and feet. Customers can also use the steam room and the sauna for 10 to 15 minutes to stimulate the immune system, deep relaxation and stress relief.
Moreover, customers can also use the gym and fitness center to help maintain their bodies and minds. Of course, a fitness instructor is there to assist customers and give advice.
Moving on to the massage room was a collection of seven massage therapies inspired by the techniques of ancient cultures. Each uses a combination of exotic oils, music, unique atomizers and traditional massage strokes. The 30-60-80-minute rituals include Arabian, Oriental, Thai and Indian inspired treatments. At the end, therapists serve guests special herbal tea at the spa’s cafe.
Seven facial treatments, using professional Clarins products, and five body treatments, using oils and treatments extracted from plants grown only in Central America and the Far East, are some of the treatments popular among guests.
“We want our customers to enjoy every moment in the spa and to have a unique experience,” said Smietanski.
Clarins Spa offers one year, six months, three months, one month membership and a one-day package.
