DAMMAM, 24 January 2007 — Eleven members have been elected to the new managing committee of the International Indian School, Jubail, a school source said.

The elections were held under the supervision of Mubarak Bubshait, director, and Khalid Al-Ruwaie, an official of the Ministry of Education in the Eastern Province. Nearly 1,000 of 1527 parents voted, the source said. Sakkir Hussain Perapparambil of Ernakulam, Kerala, got the highest number of votes.
