JEDDAH, 28 July 2006 — A Saudi millionaire behaved in the miserly fashion of the Dickens’s character “Ebenezer Scrooge” when he sued a tenant for SR2,000 in back rent and demanded her eviction, the daily Okaz reported yesterday. The judge tried to persuade the man to back off the tenant, an elderly woman, but to no avail; “Uncle Scrooge” went forward with his suit, which is currently in court.
