DAMASCUS, 26 July 2006 — Syrian singer Asala Nasri’s latest album “Hayati” was released here yesterday under the shadow of thundering warplanes and large-scale destructions, the Al-Watan daily reported yesterday.

Rotana released the album in several Arab markets yesterday. While one of the songs written by Marwan Khouri is in Lebanese dialect and another one written by Wasam Sabri in Algerian the remaining numbers are in Egyptian dialect.
