Iran says it hit radar sites in Kuwait as US strikes continue

DUBAI: Iran's Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) said on Wednesday it had struck several radar systems in Kuwait as part of its latest retaliatory operation against the United States.
Iranian state media also reported fresh US strikes in several provinces early Wednesday.
The IRGC said it targeted an early-warning radar, a radar complex near Ali Al-Salem Air Base and another radar system on Kuwait’s Bubiyan Island, claiming the sites were put out of service.

Officials said areas near Behbahan, Omidiyeh, Chabahar, Konarak, Sirik and the outskirts of Tabriz were hit. They said there were no immediate reports of civilian casualties.
Meanwhile, Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the operational command of Iran's armed forces, warned that any US attack on Iran's nuclear facilities would mark a further escalation of the conflict.
The warning came after US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the United States would “soon” target Iran's Kuh-e Kolang, or Pickaxe Mountain, facility.
