Saudi foreign minister, Palestinian vice president discuss Gaza developments

  • Hussein Al-Sheikh condemned Iranian aggression against Arab countries

RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed recent developments in the Gaza Strip and the Occupied Palestinian Territory with Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al-Sheikh.

The call on Monday focused on strengthening joint action to achieve the rights of the Palestinian people and discussed several regional issues, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Al-Sheikh affirmed Palestinian solidarity with Arab countries in addressing threats to their national security and condemned Iranian aggression towards them, according to the Palestine News Agency.

He also discussed the escalating Israeli violations, which include the recent announcement of 34 new settlements in the West Bank and a web of roads to connect them and further isolate Palestinian communities.
