RIYADH: The Saudi aid agency KSrelief recently distributed 2,750 cartons of dates to vulnerable people in the Syrian Arab Republic, benefiting thousands of families.
The agency also distributed 24,500 hot meals in the central and southern Gaza Strip, benefiting 24,500 individuals in need.
In Nigeria, KSrelief distributed 500 food baskets to 3,000 displaced people. In Sudan, it distributed 1,681 food baskets to displaced families and returnees in Khartoum state, benefiting 11,327 people.
A KSrelief-backed prosthetics and rehabilitation center in Yemen’s Aden governorate provided 1,399 medical services in a month to 447 people who had lost limbs. Those services included manufacturing and fitting prosthetic limbs, as well as consultations and physical therapy.
The Saudi aid agency also distributed 500 personal care kits to vulnerable groups in Chad, benefiting 3,000 people.
