Sarajevo: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs recently organized a Shariah training course in Sarajevo for more than 60 imams, preachers, and Islamic studies students from across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The course was part of the ministry’s efforts to promote Islamic knowledge, foster the values of moderation, and develop qualified religious personnel.
It featured a series of sessions designed to strengthen participants’ knowledge of Islamic scholarship and enhance their preaching and teaching skills.
The course aimed to promote a sound understanding of Islam based on the principles of moderation while enhancing the capabilities of imams and preachers to carry out their religious mission effectively and reinforce the values of mercy, tolerance, and moderation while promoting the true teachings of Islam in their communities.
It was part of the ministry’s educational and dawah programs, implemented in cooperation with Islamic institutions and religious authorities worldwide.
The programs aim to promote knowledge of authentic Islam, develop qualified religious personnel, and reinforce the Kingdom’s mission to serve Islam and Muslims while promoting the values of moderation.
