Agricultural celebrations aim to strengthen local market access

ALULA: The Royal Commission for AlUla has invited farmers and families working in cottage industries to register and participate in the annual Khayrat AlUla seasonal agricultural celebrations.

The initiative is part of the commission’s efforts to support local production, empower agricultural entrepreneurs, and expand market access for AlUla’s products among visitors and consumers in the Kingdom and abroad.

The Khayrat AlUla seasonal celebrations include a series of specialized events such as the Summer Fruits Season, Dates Season, Bergamot Season, Citrus Season, Honey Season, and a dedicated date auction.

The initiative aims to showcase the quality of local products, strengthen their competitiveness, promote agricultural output, and enhance the economic value of AlUla’s agricultural sector.

The commission said the events provided a platform to highlight the diversity and excellence of AlUla’s agricultural products while creating opportunities for farmers and families working in cottage industries.

They also support the sustainability of the agricultural sector and contribute to the governorate’s broader economic development goals.
