RIYADH: President of the National Human Rights Society Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Fakhri met CEO of the National Center for Curriculum Dr. Abdulrahman bin Makmi Al-Ruwaili in Riyadh.
They discussed a number of topics related to the role of curricula in establishing national values, enhancing the culture of rights and responsibilities — contributing to character building — and developing positive behaviors among students.
During the meeting, the center reviewed mechanisms for measuring the impact of curricula on the educational environment, and went over evaluation and follow-up methodologies for assessing the extent to which educational objectives, values, knowledge and targeted skills are achieved.
It also examined the periodic review and development of educational content to enhance its effectiveness in achieving its goals and keeping pace with changing educational needs.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and exchanging expertise in areas of mutual interest to support the development of educational content and enhance students’ values, knowledge and skills.
