RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index closed lower on Sunday, shedding 61.66 points, or 0.56 percent, to close at 10,928.79.
The MSCI Tadawul 30 Index declined 10.21 points, or 0.70 percent, to 1,453.46, while the parallel market Nomu fell 88.38 points, or 0.38 percent, to 22,989.62.
Trading turnover on the main market reached SR3.48 billion ($925.9 million), with 185,980,140 shares changing hands. A total of 75 stocks advanced, while 177 declined.
Marketing Home Group for Trading Co. led the gainers, rising 7.53 percent to SR48.58, followed by Saudi Cable Co., which gained 5.60 percent to SR166.00.
Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. advanced 5.42 percent to SR7.39, Miahona Co. rose 4.64 percent to SR16, and Saudi Industrial Development Co. added 4.24 percent to SR15.50.
On the losing side, Jarir Marketing Co. fell 3.96 percent to SR15.54. Saudi Manpower Solutions Co. declined 3.57 percent to SR6.22, Arabian Mills for Food Products Co. dropped 3.48 percent to SR46, Saudi Arabian Mining Co. lost 3.09 percent to SR61.15, and Herfy Food Services Co. slipped 3.02 percent to SR15.43.
On the announcement front, Jarir Marketing Co. announced the opening of a new showroom on Al-Madinah Road in Jeddah, replacing its previous branch on King Abdulaziz Road.
The new facility spans 4,090 sq. meters and was designed to provide a comprehensive shopping experience featuring the company’s full product range.
The showroom represents an investment of approximately SR32 million, with Saudi nationals accounting for 74 percent of its workforce.
Jarir said the financial impact of the new branch is expected to be reflected in its results beginning in the second quarter of 2026.
Separately, Aldawaa Medical Services Co.’s board approved the distribution of SR53.6 million in cash dividends for the first quarter of 2026. Shareholders will receive SR0.63 per share, representing 6.3 percent of the share’s par value.
Eligibility for the dividend will be for shareholders registered as of July 6, while dividend payments are scheduled to begin on July 20.
Aldawaa’s shares ended the session down 2.55 percent at SR45.86.
