Nara Smith captivates in Saudi label Eman Alajlan gown

DUBAI: US-based model and content creator Nara Smith made a striking appearance at the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book 2026 launch, wearing a couture gown by Saudi designer Eman Alajlan.

The look, from Alajlan’s pre-fall 2026 collection, showcased the Riyadh-based designer’s signature craftsmanship, blending structured elegance with soft, feminine detailing. Smith paired the ensemble with statement pieces from Tiffany & Co., creating a polished red-carpet moment.

Tiffany & Co. celebrated the launch of its Blue Book 2026: Hidden Garden jewelry collection at Park Avenue Armory in New York on Apr. 16. Fashionable attendees included Naomi Watts, Teyana Taylor, Connor Storrie, and Amanda Seyfried. Mariah Carey also took to the stage for a performance.

The Tiffany & Co. website read: “Showcasing the world’s finest diamonds and extraordinary colored gemstones, Blue Book 2026: Hidden Garden reveals a secret landscape where nature’s quiet transformations unfold in radiant beauty.”

Nathalie Verdeille, senior vice president and chief artistic officer, designed the collection alongside the Tiffany Design Studio.

According to the website, the collection reinterprets designer Jean Schlumberger’s artistry and flora and fauna motifs into “sculptural masterpieces of exceptional beauty.”

Among the key pieces is a Butterfly suite presented in Padparadscha and Montana sapphires, alongside a jasmine kunzite necklace inspired by one Schlumberger crafted for friend and patron Bunny Mellon in 1962.

To celebrate the launch, Tiffany & Co. transformed the Park Avenue Armory into an enchanting garden inspired by Mellon’s Oak Spring. The landmark holds significant meaning for the house. In 1881, Louis Comfort Tiffany commissioned the design of the Armory’s Silver Room and Veterans Room, two of the last fully intact interiors by the artist.

Alajlan, who has a store in Riyadh, established her label in 2007 and specializes in couture, bridal, and pret-a-porter dresses. She has dressed a number of regional celebrities for international events, including the 2019 Venice Film Festival when Saudi actresses Mila Alzahrani and Dae Al-Hilali hit the red carpet in her creations.
