Cultural festival draws visitors to Madinah

MADINAH: The 14th edition of the International Cultural Festival, organized by the Islamic University of Madinah, drew broad international participation, with several senior officials, ambassadors and country representatives in attendance.

Festival guests toured the pavilions of more than 90 participating countries and watched cultural performances presented by university students.

The performances reflected the diversity of their countries’ cultural heritage in a scene that embodied cultural exchange among the peoples of the world.

Ambassadors and country representatives expressed admiration for the high level of organization, which brought diverse cultures together in one place.

They praised the role of the Islamic University of Madinah in promoting cultural and human connection, as well as the festival’s rich content, which includes more than 400 activities and dedicated spaces for families and children.

Renowned for its immense spirituality, the city houses the Prophet’s Mosque, and acts as a central hub for culture and profound Islamic history.
