MADINAH: The Islamic University of Madinah has launched an innovation competition to inspire creative solutions and help enhance campus sustainability and quality of life.
The competition features four stages: Applications run until March 12 and are followed by prototype development, final judging on April 30, and the awards ceremony.
Participants can submit projects across diverse tracks, including renewable energy, water management, smart transportation, and the circular economy.
Projects will be evaluated on innovation, feasibility, and environmental impact, with financial prizes awarded to help transform winning ideas into practical initiatives.
Saudi universities are rapidly evolving into innovation hubs, driving economic diversification under the Vision 2030 initiative.
