Saudi FM discusses current regional situation with Kuwaiti counterpart, UN chief

RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed the current situation in the region with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah in Riyadh on Wednesday.

The two officials also reviewed relations between their countries and issues of common interest, the Saudi Press Agency reported. 

Sheikh Jarrah is on an official visit to the Kingdom and was welcomed earlier on Wednesday at King Khalid International Airport by Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji.

On Wednesday, Prince Faisal held a phone call with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to discuss the international efforts made to address regional developments and their impacts.
