LONDON: Palestinian security forces in Nuba, near Hebron in the occupied West Bank, responded after six Iranian missile fragments fell near homes on Tuesday.
Explosives engineering teams conducted inspections and removed the fragments of Iranian missiles that were intercepted by Israeli air defenses, Wafa news agency reported.
Palestinian police said that the incident resulted in no injuries.
In the first 10 days of the US and Israeli strikes against Iran, security teams from the Palestinian Authority removed 106 pieces of shrapnel from Iranian missiles and suicide drones that had fallen in Palestinian towns.
Last week, four Palestinian women were killed and eight others injured when an Iranian warhead struck a beauty salon in Beit Awa village near Hebron. Palestinians in the occupied West Bank lack shelter and an adequate warning system, while settlers who live in settlements adjacent to Palestinian villages are equipped with sirens and bunkers.
