Palestinian police say more than 100 Iranian shrapnel pieces fell in West Bank

  • 2 injured, and 12 cases of property damage were reported

LONDON: The Palestinian Authority reported that 106 pieces of shrapnel from Iranian missiles and suicide drones have fallen in Palestinian towns in the occupied West Bank since the end of February.

The police spokesman, Louay Ezriqat, said on Monday that two people were injured and 12 cases of property damage were reported.

He added that the police continue to secure the sites of the fallen missiles and drones and remove any dangerous objects, according to Wafa news agency.

Iran launched missiles and drones into Israel after the US military and Israel targeted Iranian military capabilities and infrastructure, assassinating its top leaders.

Shrapnel and large fragments of munitions had fallen in Palestinian towns, including Ramallah and the outskirts of Jerusalem, after the Israeli Iron Dome intercepted them.
