DIRIYAH: Diriyah Season, an annual cultural festival celebrating the Kingdom’s rich heritage, has welcomed its visitors during Eid Al-Fitr holiday, confirming Diriyah’s position as a distinguished destination for families and tourists seeking unique cultural and tourism experiences.
The season offers a variety of programs that celebrate Diriyah’s heritage and rich history, including Hal Al-Qusoor, Al-Huwayett, Layali Al-Diriyah and Samhan programs, providing a comprehensive experience that blends culture, entertainment and arts in festive settings suited to the holiday atmosphere.
In AI-Turaif Historic district, a symbol of leadership and governance, which is registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, Hal Al-Qusoor program continues to welcome visitors to six historic palaces of the elders of the Saudi state for the first time.
Al-Huwayett program, held in the heart of the historic Al-Hwaihrah district, known for its past cultural and educational role, provides an interactive experience targeting children and youth. Its goal is to connect the younger generation with Diriyah’s values and traditions while strengthening their sense of national identity.
